A South Birmingham School requires an experienced Assistant head teacher to cover maternity from January 2018 or ASAP.

The school is a well-established Primary School with a huge push on school improvement so requires a strong leader with some proven success in schools who require improvement or Special measures. You will be required to teach a year 5 class for 0.5 of your timetable, so confidence teaching year 5 is essential.

Experience leading English or Maths would be an advantage but you would be well supported by an experienced and established senior leadership team.

Requirements:

• British QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching and leading in a UK school
• Currently reside in the UK
• School leadership experience
